Ah! The Autumn is ever so beautiful. The brilliant scarlets of the leaves, the chill of the wind--I wish it would never end. I have drank a glass of red wine, and contemplated my future, sitting on the windowsill of my room. Will may days some-day come to an end? Or will they continue on, never-ending? Will I regret what I do now? Will I do things far worse? God, I wish I could know.

I saw the most beautiful girl in the park. She was reciting a monologue from The Tempest, one of Miranda's, I believe. Her voice was shaking and she had a bit of a monotone académique, yet, in a somewhat contradictory way, her passion was so genuine. I hope I will get to know her some-day.
I also spent some time practicing the piano--there is something so beautiful and emotional about playing Chopin. I love it so.

I went to the opera today, Salomé in particular. It is such a good show, and I make a point to see it whenever it is playing somewhere. It did not disappoint me.
Monday, 19 October[]
I have been reading the works of Sappho recently. She is truly one of the greatest poets to ever live. Oh! How I wish that I could have met her! And her writings have made me realise how I yearn for love--for a beautiful girl to take me in her arms and call me her darling, her one and only. I would die for a love like that!
Tuesday, 20 October[]
I met the girl again and she is just as beautiful as I remember. Her name is Persephone and she is of the Frankenstein family--a direct descendant of the notorious Genevese scientist, I believe. I do think her name fits quite well; she seems to be somewhat of a vision of the dread Persephone in the flesh. Oh! How I wish I could rule beside her!
